MOVIE: The Departed

This is by far one of my favorite movies. First of all, it is an all-star cast with some of the best actors in Hollywood. The story weaves these actors into a complicated network of mobsters and cops in Boston. It's for this reason that I always recommend this film to all my friends in Boston.

One of the key aspects of the film is the line between the good guys and the bad guys and the blurring of that divide. You can't trust the mobsters or the cops and that's what makes the ending (One of the greatest twists) so remarkable. It is absolutely one of those movies you don't understand the first time you watch it. It takes a couple of time to understand the connections between the characters. This dichotomy is fully explored by the characters of Colin (Matt Damon) and Billy (Leonardo Dicaprio). The twists and the deceit and the double lives are so thrilling and so edgy that the ending (which I won't spoil) fit the twists and turn perfectly. There is not much more I can say about this film, but it is a must-watch for all.
